The rain started shortly after we arrived at Mario's Marina on the Rio Dulce. It was heavy and continuous for about three weeks. In that time, the river level rose to about three feet above normal.
Dock power had to be shut off when the water level reached the level of the power cables under the docks. It was restored in mid-July.
