I believe this is the tallest stellae of any site. The stone carvers were in great demand. The ruler who had Quiriqua built had to assisinate Rabbit 18, the ruler building Copan in Honduras to get his stellae finished. This stellae depicts the creation of the earth, which according to the Mayan calendar began on August 13, 3114 B.C.E.
