This little abuela (Grandmother) came up to Debi on the beach outside our hotel. It was love at first site. Her face had the joy and wisdom of many years with her skin was so wrinkled and only one tooth. But, she had the most enchanting smile. She wrapped Debi's head in the customary fashion. Of course she made the sale...Debi would have bought anything from this lady. Note, in Panajachel, Debi is a giant compared to the Mayan women. Finally, she's tall!!!
