We are out of the Rio and have begun to cruise in Belize. Our first stop, Placencia held us there for a few weeks. A little bit of weather, some guests for our buddy boat Dragonheart, some laziness, and a serious gelato addiction were the reasons for staying in Placencia so long. Still we had some adventure and this is a great place to stay on the hook, eat good food, and relax. Also, there's gelato. We use Placencia as a place to base our island hopping. We can easily get provisions and check the Internet, e-mail, etc. And, of course, there's gelato. Thank God for Tutti Frutti!!
