Cindy and Mike on Lyric as we head to Caye Caulker, Belize. These two, particularly Cindy, are responsible for getting us back into sailing in early 2000.
They have been cruising for several years now, and encouraging us to join them. Because of our belated departure on this adventure, they have been patienting waiting for us in Belize since March on board their Downeaster 38, Dragonheart.
They met us in San Pedro and assisted with our clearance into Belize. We are now on our way to Caye Caulker where they are anchored. We will spend several days there to fully recover from our Gulf passage and the sail down from Isla Mujeres.
